AACOM, SCAI, FASEB, and Our House Select TMC as Interim Executives, Executive Search, and Consultants

May 25, 2016 -- Transition Management Consulting, Inc. (TMC), President Jackie Eder-Van Hook, PhD, announced four recent client engagements with the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM); the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Association (SCAI) and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions Foundation (SCAIF); Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), and Our House.

AACOMMaryland-based American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) selected TMC to provide interim and consulting services to AACOM. Affiliated consultant Harry Tillipman, MSW, MBA, Principal and Owner, Harvey Tillipman Consulting, LLC, serves as their interim executive in the role of interim chief operating officer. Jackie Eder-Van Hook, PhD, and Robert Van Hook worked with AACOM’s President Dr. Shannon on a project to reposition the COO role.

AACOM (www.aacom.org) provides leadership for the osteopathic medical education community by promoting excellence in medical education, research and service, and by fostering innovation and quality across the continuum of osteopathic medical education to improve the health of the American public.

SCAIWashington DC-based Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions (SCAI) selected TMC affiliated consultant Joan Goldberg, Principal, Strategic Assessment and Solutions, to serve as its interim executive director.

SCAI (www.scai.org) promotes excellence in invasive and interventional cardiovascular medicine through education and representation, and the advancement of quality standards to enhance patient care.

FASEBFederation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) unanimously selected TMC to conduct a national search for its new executive director. The search is led by TMC President Jackie Eder-Van Hook, PhD. It is expected to commence in the summer 2016.

FASEB (www.faseb.org) is the nation’s largest coalition of biomedical researchers, representing 30 scientific societies and over 125,000 researchers from around the world. FASEB is the recognized policy voice of biological and biomedical researchers. Our HouseMaryland-based Our House selected TMC to provide support to its board of directors and transitioning executives. Affiliated consultant Joan Goldberg, Principal, Strategic Assessment and Solutions served as their consultant.

Our House (www.our-house.org) teaches job skills, including construction, small engine repair, wood shop, workforce readiness, culinary arts, as well as GED preparation, to abandoned, abused, homeless, and orphaned teenage boys – all in a residential setting.
