Terry Ellis, PhD, PMP

Project Management & Business Process Consultant

Terry brings more than two decades of experience serving as a consultant, coach, strategic planner, project management leader, or process improvement expert.

She has successfully led large-scale, cross-functional and cross-cultural projects from initiation through execution and closeout for regional, national and global companies in a variety of industries, e.g., nonprofits, health care, pharmaceutical, financial, chemical, medical systems, and entrepreneurial ventures. Terry holds a number of certifications, including:
  • Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and leader of process improvement and process design initiatives with exceptional abilities in coaching leaders, teams, and sponsors in leadership, negotiation, facilitation and Six Sigma methodologies (DMAIC, Lean, and DFSS).
  • Certified Kaplan and Norton Balanced Scorecard Practitioner of strategy management system and Balanced Scorecard framework and a member of the Palladium Group Execution Premium Community.
  • Accredited AIM (Accelerated Implementation Methodology) Practitioner with proven ability as a change champion and agent in sponsor contracting and commitment-building with leaders, stakeholders, and team members of multi-business and multi-cultural organizations.
  • Promote a culture of inquiry, self-awareness, sharing, and inclusion
  • Accomplished PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified Project Leader with more than 17 years of business process improvement, project leadership and change management experience.
Terry earned a doctorate in Human and Organizational Systems (PhD) from Fielding Graduate University, holds a Master of Education degree in instructional systems, Master of Science degree in information science, and Bachelors of Science degree in computer and information systems. She lives in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, with her husband, Peter, and their daughter, Samantha.
